Jane Anyango Odongo, Executive Director and Founder of the Polycom Development Project in Kibera, Kenya was able to attend our event on African Cities in early December as a participant. She was in Geneva at the time to help lead the discussions during the Women @ The Table event, Gender & Cities (http://genderandcities.strikingly.com/). In this clip, Jane tells us why it is important to talk about “women as women”, not just “women as people” in the context of the work they do in slum communities.
